ahhhhhh, Ken, buddy, it might be time we start taking the 5th.  I don't even care if it's the amendment or the bottle.  Just anything to get her off our trail.  I'm getting afraid now, very very afraid .

Oh hell, keep the amendment and pass me the bottle. We can all drink to shiny stuff!

I don't know, let's see:

Turn offs:  Land mines and mean people

Turn ons: Butterflies, beutiful clouds, Sugar Daddies

Hobbies: Cooking, small electric hand held appliances

I'm guessing those small electric hand held appliances are NOT kitchen appliances tho!  :nervous:

Nope, "cooking."  Right there in print for all to see and trust.

Hmmmm, such a thought had never occurred to me.  Ken, do you have any idea what your wife might be suggesting :nixweiss: ?

Ken...give some thought to the bars.

You do NOT want the smaller luggage rack and backrest...it looks sharp, but is otherwise useless, and Cheri will not like it for lower back support.  The other rack will actually hold something...get the thicker "touring pad" for the sissy bar.

http://www.harley-davidson.com/gma/gma_product.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=845524448769854&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=2534374309221367&ASSORTMENT%3C%3East_id=2534374309221367&bmUID=1195058408531&bmLocale=en_US

You will also need the fender base plate (in black, of course) to install the rack and sissy bar.  It fits underneath the passenger pillion. They don't show it in black, but I've seen it.

http://www.harley-davidson.com/gma/gma_product.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=845524442220363&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=2534374309221367&ASSORTMENT%3C%3East_id=2534374309221367&bmUID=1195058045507&bmLocale=en_US

This is a nice little bag that will fit after you get the rack and backrest, but fitment is dependent on type of backrest.  This same bag is available, and manufactured by, SAC

http://www.harley-davidson.com/gma/gma_product.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=845524442220347&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=2534374309220170&ASSORTMENT%3C%3East_id=2534374309220170&bmUID=1195058497529&bmLocale=en_US

Go here for better luggage options...be careful about putting things on the front forks, especially if you get them blacked out...it will rub and make the black look like chit after a while.

This company makes a lot of the HD bags...if you ever think you might take a weekend trip, it's the way to go, IMO.  They have a lot of other stuff, and if you call, they will make you whatever you need to fit.

This is not a terrible looking windshield by HD, and it fits over the headlamp fairing...don't think it's tinted though, but you might could take it to a place and have a light gray tint put on it.  I'll check out other options with Windvest

Well, d'uh...   We are guys.  Insight is not our job.  Especially this crowd.  I mean, like, did you forget that to us emotional depth is feeling happy while we're sliding down the road humming the tune to "I don't want a pickle...."?  :cucumber:

A HA!! We've come full circle. He could do that on the Jester but he just HAD to have a second bike when he can only ride one at a time??  :P

P.S. when is the dyno getting fixed? Gotta get the enclosed trailer next.

Terry,

I like the sound of that. Is this the same slip on?

http://www.tabperformance.com/servlet/Detail?no=10

I'd ran across it earlier. It'd the only slip-on I've seen. That'd be the cheapest way to accomplish it! $229. If you don't like it--toss em.

Thanks for the info. It's a lot to absorb so quickly. I think I'll ride it for a little while w/o the windscreen, just to see. Definately need a bag of some sort though.

Those are them, Ken....I'd get the baffled version though, as you need the backpressure and the noise reduction.  It will be plenty loud, but not obnoxious.
