fxr3 vin. numbers
« on: December 08, 2007, 07:59:39 PM »

I understand the total fxr3's produced were 684 total units. Does anyone know what  vin. number started the first fxr3. I have a green one I bought new and wondered what number mine was produced out of 684. (example, 44 of 684)
                                                        Thanks,
                                                         TOMBSTONE

Tough question.  To know that, you'd have to know both the VINs that make up the 620 green ones and then what sequential order the bikes were built in.  My understanding is that the frames are sequentially numbered as they are manufactured, but that when they pull frames to make motorcycles, they're not necessarily going to pull the frames in sequential order.

Just curious why the interest? :nixweiss:  One of 620 is a rare bike, no matter which one of the 620 it is.

Just curious I guess, It was my first Harley, and they tacked another $2,000.00 on the price. I also have a 06 Streetglide non C.V.O. I have around 16K
miles on the green monster. Thanks for the fast reply even though I didn't post in the correct column.

I should have said, "Welcome to the site!"  I didn't realize you'd posted the question in the New Member Intro. section when I responded.

Cool that you're the original owner of the FXR3! :2vrolijk_21: It'd be great if you could post a photo of your bikes here.
