That placard is very thin, so I'm using the silver one on mine, without UC corner lights, on the rear of the KTP. I haven't seen pics of mine yet, but I'm hoping it works. ;)

Howie, are you using just this SE emblem?

Just sticking it on the pac?

When you going to have some pics already?

Yep, it'll be on the rear, with some graphics around it. He said it was very thin, and shouldn't need to be frenched in. I haven't gotten it back yet, and have no idea what he did to it, as the final product. I used that placard on the rear, and the one from the SEUC on the top too. The top has the recess, so that will be inset. You'll see some pics when I get it back. ;)

Can't help you with the "physical differences" regarding the tour paks.  Perhaps with more photos, measurements, etc. you'll find out what they are as it relates to adding a painted Ultra light bar to your King TP.

It may be helpful that the HD parts books for '05 Ultra and '08 Ultra Tour Paks show the same PN for the black plastic light bar, 5835-93.  So, whatever "physical differences" there are between the two TPs', those differences do not appear to implicate fitment of the black plastic light bar since that part is common to both TPs.

It turns out that a parts breakdown of the two Ultra light bar kits I mentioned earlier would not be helpful since they don't contain a kit breakdown of the black plastic part.  That's why the parts books for the '05 and '08 Ultra were checked.

While it hasn't been mentioned, yet, the stick-on, faux chrome label on the '08 SE Ultra's TP lid may be different from that found on '08 non-CVO Ultras since it is not the common "USA" label.

Good luck with your project.

Yep they are, and they're VIN restricted.  I had to "special" order the '08 SEUC badges. ;)

Was at the dealership and these are the PN's for the lid and bottom/rear '08 SE Ultra medallions from Zanotti's:

53357-08  ( Quantity 1 * Price39.26) $ 39.26
53389-08  ( Quantity 1 * Price39.26) $ 39.26
Shipping is $ 15.31
Total $ 93.83

When this thread started the '08 SE Ultra light bar was a restricted part; couldn't get a PN from Zanotti's website; it is now available, apparently.  So, it may be that the medallions are no longer a restricted part either.  HTH

When I first tried to order my SG rear fender facia in early '06, it was a restricted part, but didn't require return of the take-off, just a VIN from a SG.  So I coped the VIN from an SG on the floor of my HD store, and gave that to Zanotti's who ordered the part for me and I had it in 10 days or so.  The facia became an unrestricted part thereafter, and has been available primed for a good while.  Can't say what the deal is with the SE Ultra medallions, but some "restricted" items do change to unrestricted.

Good evening Classic45

The white frost lamp housing is part no. 68072-08CTF and you'll still need the middle SE insert P/N 53389-08.
If I remember right, the SE insert is ~ 60$ but I received never the price of the lamp housing.

I've choose to put only the SE insert but I've not ordered.

Jacques

chicago Harley sell Part 53389-08for 48 $
and Part Number 68072-08 CTF for 252,80 $

just send EMail for details to george.edens@chicagoharley.com

I have not decided yet what to by, - looks like Zanotti is the best bargain, if you take the price into consideration, but I have no idea how they handle international customers.

Do you have any picture of the Screaming Eagle Medallion/Insert? And can it be used as a stand alone item?

Good evening Terje,

Zanotti will send at the International with UPS.
I order not by Zanotti because it's only with UPS.
I ask the sending with USPS because (in France) I need not to pay the taxes (only with USPS).
If I receive an order with UPS, FEDEX or others, each time, I need to pay the custom taxes and VAT.
I prefer the shipping cost a little higher and it's better for my pocket.
Concerning Zanotti, ask him an offer with the shipping cost and if you agree it's possible to pay by paypal.
You'll have no problem with Zanotti, it's a good dealer.

Look the pic for the Screaming Eagle Insert. I've not better.
I know not how it's fixed but I think that it's possible to fix it with a double side tape.

Thank you for the pictures.

It is strange that we have to pay a hell of a lot of money for the "Stripped" International model compared to the US Domestic one.
I paid about 75 000, - US dollar for my CUSE3.

That is without King Tour-Pack Taillamp Kit, garage opener, custom chrome mirrors etc.....
