Happy 2008
« on: January 02, 2008, 04:53:15 PM »

Living in Northern Michigan means lots of PMS (Parked Motorcycle Syndrome).

It can be a challenge but New Years Day means first ride of the year time for me. The biggest challenge is getting in and out of our neighborhood street and my driveway. After a few hours of ice chipping I got the driveway clear and headed out to enjoy the 24 degree beginning of the year.

Happy 2008! & Hopefully the next ride of the year is a lil warmer and dryer ;D

Do they put down the same chemicals they use here in Syracuse? I couldn't ride here now if I wanted. That looks like a good time I must say!  :2vrolijk_21: Oh yeah, Happy New Year

They just use salt here thankfully, that other stuff is nasty. I read somewhere in Ohio they are using Beet Juice...could be nice and less corrosive, but, could make the streets appear bloody?

That's hard core!  :2vrolijk_21:  Wish I could have taken my bike out on New Year's day, but it had snowed on the eve, and spent the day cleaning it up only to have it storm again that evening.  :'(
