Had you had them on for a long duration when the fuse blew?  Has it repeated?  Were they installed on a shared circuit where something else might add to the load?

Fortunately I haven't blown any fuses.  Was reading back thru the posts and remembered the added in line fuse.  If it ever does decide to blow, was just trying to remind myself that there was an added fuse.

Well I installed the Heat Demon Grip Warmers last month.  I have never had to turn them past 2.  Even when the temp dropped into the thirties.  They are great :2vrolijk_21:, I would reccommend them to anyone looking for Heated Grips!!  I soldier all the connections and plugged the power line into the hot lead coming out under the headlight that was covered with a red cap.  I put a 4 amp in-line fuse.

I put mine in this week, the supplied "snake" didn't work with the WO575's.
So I used my old standard. Since the late 70's I have been using the speedometer cable (universal for autos) as a snake. Sharpened up the tip a bit, then took off the point. Works great, and you can twist - rotate it as you run it though.

With that I was able to go from the right to the left with no problem.

And I think it might actually be easier to remove the tank, especially if you have a quick disconnect on the crossover.

This hint being for bikes with internal wiring, no drilling required.

I did use their little supplied plastic snake.  But it wouldn't be good for a second install.  All boogered up and chafed and was definitely only good for half a bar at a time.

Maybe that is what I did wrong, anyway my speedo cable worked like a charm.

And, so do the heat demons. Obviously didn't need them yesterday but tried them out just the same. On high with lined uninsulated gloves they go to hot on high!

Works great.
