It made my back hurt because the sumbitch had so much power it about snapped me in 1/2 when I wicked up the throttle. I left Beagle so far in the dust on California S2 between Anza and Ocotillo Wells he thought the Aliens had abducted me. It was like I vanished in thin air. And truth be told Don, the only reason I got rid of that bike is that it wasn't comfortable. I've said it before, any V-Rod is for 6 footers and under.

Quit making me laugh when I'm on the phone dammit!

Since I'm not so tall I've seemed to fit on them pretty well the times I've had the opportunity.  TC's was best though.  He and I must have close enough to same arm length and other fitments that his bike could've been something I set up for myself.  Really fun ride for the short little stretch I took it out on.  Of course I never got it much over 55 or so so can't speak to performance at all....

The Red 05 CVO of course!  They painted the headlight on the 06.And chromed the radiator Shroud. Which does not flow as good as the Color matched one on the 05. Imho. And , I do believe that the 05 handles better! I have never rode a 06. But have read countless posts on Vrodforums about the handling of the 06. I have had mine to 135 Mph with no handling issues. Except feeling like I was going to blown off of the bike! 1st gear= 60 Mph / 2nd = 90 / 3rd = 115 / 4th = 125 / 5th = 135 AND STILL PULLING! And this was 2 up!
The Vrod is a fun bike to ride for about 45 Mins. Then I need to stop and rest a while. Rolling Burnout = 75' long / Makes you dizzy!
Whichever one you choose. I am sure you will be happy with it. If you want a Vrod. Read everything you can on 1130cc.com . (formerly Vrodforums)

My ownership position...

Meaning you're thinking of getting an 08?
The brakes and the new clutch action look intriguing, that plus 5 gallons .......

The position I have is this one...if both models where available at the time I purchased I would have strongly considered the 08 model.  Vast improvements since mine and some standard.  Just some thoughts...I have no thought to selling mine and getting one, just thoughts.
