How to mess up a SEUC
« on: February 23, 2008, 01:51:27 AM »

My wife and I went to Chilli's for dinner tonight and I couldn't resist taking pictures of this SEUC, it is a shame to mess up a perfectly good paint job.  Not that I have anything wrong with religion but I would never do this to a SEUC.  Plus the owner was onthe street corner with his sign praising the lord at the top of his lungs. This is also a self portrait of the owner.

More power to the man.  It's his scooter.  After all, I've yet to meet anyone who hasn't done something to personalize his/her bike.  If this is what does it for him.......rock on.

That's what it's all about. The only one that has to like the look of your scoot is you. It's like deciding if you want to ride a bar hopper, Road King or Ultra! It's about the choices! I bet talking with him might of been a hoot.

Stay safe brother

I was afraid to open this thread when I saw the topic.  I agree, to each his own.  I guess he feels strongly enough to share his message and keeping it to himself would be selfish.  I respect his right to do that but I wouldn't buy his bike.

Nope.  Not ours.  Ours are boot-e-ful :2vrolijk_21: .

C'mon Gary, think about.  If we painted our own mugs on our bikes no one would say they were still boot-e-ful :huepfenlol2: .

Personalizing bikes is why we do it - it all ends up a little differently.  Bet that guy is happy with it, and that's his deal.

I figured this would would be another thread where somebody took a Sawzall to their fairing to make room for high rise handlebars.  Still the winner for worst IMHO.

Will not argue that point.

Daytona has some of the most bizzarro world bike creations rolling around & parked - lot's of money spent for "what the f is that" reactions.

I don't know you but based on your comments it seems that you like to bash others that profess their love for Jesus Christ,I have to ask you a question:

Just where do you think you will spend eternity? if you died riding your pretty bike one day? I know one thing that bike of yours will get you no where at the end of your life.

Maybe you should find out just what this dude has in his life that you do not, instead of poking fun of him on a public forum.

I guess we could start on you and bash you if we want to  but then that would not be a Christ like way. I think you owe this guy an apology, you are not above him at all. Grow up!!

come on - lighten up. i dont think he meant any disrepect. Putting the religious message aside (i agree that it's his message and we shouldnt really criticize that), it's the putting his own picture on his bike that is kind of funny and certainly worth a post.  In other words, i suspect it was the picture of himself that seemed so funny rather than his message.

So what if he was on the corner professing his love of the Lord after all Jesus did it  and so did a lot of good men that paid dearly for their faith, with their lives. it his bike his life afterall.

Grow up!!

Oh, oh...... I smell a thread jacking  :jack:  ;D
I see you are new here... welcome!
As others have said, lighten up. BTW, not everyone here has the same beliefs. Even though we may not agree (like I don't agree with you) we give each other some elbow room.

Nope.  Not ours.  Ours are boot-e-ful :2vrolijk_21: .

C'mon Gary, think about.  If we painted our own mugs on our bikes no one would say they were still boot-e-ful :huepfenlol2: .

Speak for yourself. ;D ;D ;D I know mine would still be boot-e-ful. lol

Oh my.   If I painted my ugly mugg in a big splash right across the fairing the bike would split its own cases and barf a sump full of oil out on the ground before I could even reach the start switch :nervous: .

I sense a bit of a complex here. lol  (If I'd put a picture of my mug on the fairing but I'd have every NFL cheerleader after me. Now, thats modest)

love it or hate it we are taking the time to discuss this and it's causing quite different reactions.  Isn't this what art is all about.   I remember some guy winning a £20K prize for a pile of rubbish, another year the prize went to an artist who stuck a pice of blue tac on the wall and declared it a sign of the times.

This is great stuff - keep it coming

NFL cheerleaders go for Canadians :nixweiss: ?    :huepfenlol2:

They will be soon.  The Buffalo Bills announced a couple weeks ago that they will be playing 8 regular season home games in Toronto spread out over several years.  The word on the street is that if/when Ralph Wilson, 89 year old owner of the team, dies his wife will sell.  Toronto is very high on a short list of potential places for the team to move to.

Cool.  Playing home games with the funky huge endzone will be outrageous!

Yeah, & the price for the tickets start at around $300.00 per seat.

Yep, that it is.

I guess my idea of painting roses all over my bike would elicit same emotions from others.  Not your cup of tea.  :o
I really like what some folks have done to their bikes.  And some .... well, lets just say that my momma told me that if you can't say anything nice ...... shut up.  Really though, even though the way someone has decorated their bikes may not be the same thing I would do, if they are happy, that is all that matters. I think, anyway.

I agree with you as well. I've seen flame jobs on CVO's that IMO look like a 2year olds work yet It got everyones attention. We as a bunch even though we may poke fun at others don't mind being poked at ourselfs. Again, thats the beauty of a bunch of liked mined people sharing humour & regretfully tragedy in some cases. Ride On!
