Above and beyond the obvious skill and well drilled nature of those skills the one other thing that stands out about those pics is the rider's head.

I've not been fortunate enough to do one of the MSF courses RedFX.  But both of those things are just so much human nature that it certainly makes sense they'd be part of their drill.  As long as I've been riding I'll still occasionally stare at the pothole that's just suddenly jumped up in front of me instead a line ahead next to it that'll clear.  My butt seems to have learned to swivel in those rare instances when the eyes haven't yet.  But it's tough to retrain human nature.

Learn't this from training horses. You always look half way around the circle and your body will balance on your horse under you to go that direction. Funny how it works on a bike as well. Even on high speeds around a corner, you're looking around the corner not in front of you, thus putting iyou n the right postion for the angle every time.

Been thru that also and you are 100% right. It takes practice...I don't ride my SEEG that way (first pic.) dragging boards at slow speed. I do use the principles. One of the excercises we had to complete was a 360 degree circle with the boards dragging all the way around. If the board came off the ground you did it again. Had to do it both directions. Fun...

Wow, I really appreciate DJ's trophies shown above but a full 360 dragging boards each way?  That sounds tough.  Definitely bow before the more talented  [smiley=beerchug.gif]

I don't ride my SEEG that way either.  I use my work bike for that kinda fun.   [smiley=laugh.gif]  If it gets dropped, no harm... I get a new one next year! [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif]
