Heads up,  June issue of (can I say it?) American Rider tested the BUB,  D&D,   and BASSANI on a dynamometer.

I forgot to add that the test was done on a 103 Stock Block Bagger with Mackie 630 cams.

hd-dudeThe Max Torque of the Bubs was 108.97, HP 118.51.           D&D Fat Cats Max Torque  115.39  HP  122.04.   Bassani Road Rage 2 into 1 Max. Torque 107.76  HP  116.81.  The D&D out performe the others from 2200 RPM to 6000 RPM With the biggest gains at the lower RPM range with no dip, packing 93.89 lbs of torque at the 3000 Rpm range, and get this, riding 2 up loaded down averaged a little more than 45 MPG. This test bike has got a six speed tranny, maybe why the gas mileage was so good.  don

I read that article last night. Good article. If anyone wants it, I could scan it in tonight. (Unless you want to Don...don't want to step on your toes). Anyway, let me know.

It's the newest issue of American Rider Magazine.  If you're not familuar with it, it's a magazine with a lot of good, useful technical information for riders (not necessarily custom builders or drag bike guys) without all the girly stuff.  Not making a judgement call there......you guys know I like the babes......just telling you about the magazine.

Also, if you write a letter to them, don't be surprised to see it get printed (let's thank them for all the articles their doing on the 103" motor) and those that don't get printed often get a reply via email.  I was surprised to actually get several emails from the editor himself.
