Thanks for posting the article, very interesting. I wonder how the D&D would compare to the Freedom version of the Bub Reinharts? [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

" oh yes.........by the way, I have a slightly used Vance & Hines Pro Pipe for sale and would like to know where I can buy the D&D Fat Cat"
I dunno, JC, they didn't compare the pro pipe to the D&D...I would like to see that comparo. We'll have to ask the dyno guy what he thinks [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Sounds to me like I need to add a set of cams to the scooter.

Is their any legal issues this site should be concerned with when scanning a magazines pages and posting them? don't want to see this site go away, do you need permission or something?
Hey guys I'm running the D&D Fat Cat with the performance baffle and my dyno sheet has been posted here (dyno thread), my numbers are not much different then anybody else's that have had them dialed in properly!!!  (my numbers 100 hp 103 torque) I'll bet that even if you go buy the Mackie cam and have him touch up your 103+ heads (not the stock 103 heads) similiarly you probably won't see the same results without 100+ hours in the dyno room!!! I will add that I like the way the pipe looks, sounds and performs and to boot it cost less than most of the competition. I paid $650 delivered  (direct from manufacturer) can be had for less on the web!!! [smiley=bigok.gif]

I want to add that what they mention about the torque coming in early is very true a friend rode my scooter after getting off his 95" TC and praised the fact that in any gear at any rpm he could grab a handful of throttle and the bike would respond without hesitation (I like that myself)

O Fender  Do No about if it's a no no to copy the artical on the site, but maybe it will create more sales. I'm worse than a kid at a candy shop when my AMERICAN RIDER comes in the mail. They got some very good stuff in the mag.  I went and got my dyno sheet to the SERK and compared it to the test bike. The SERK started out at 78 torque lbs and stayed ahead ot the Fat Cats till the 3000 rpm at 91 lbs. I was kinda surprised because the SERK engin is stock except for the se hi flow,  se stag 1 down load & se mufflers for racing only (ha ha). I may be shopping for some of them Fat Cats. don

Just ordered a D&D Fat Cat for my '05 SEEG. I am going to have my bike dyno'd at 500 miles "stock". I will then add the D&D 2 into 1 exhaust, Power Commander and Screaming Eagle air cleaner and have it dyno tuned. I will post both dyno sheets as they become available. I was just about ready to order the rineharts when my issue of American Rider arrived. I hope I'm not making a mistake. D&D's should be here on Friday!!

After posting the last post, I thought I better shoot Buz an email asking him about this.  Here is Buz's response:

Hi JC.  Of course I do remember you.  Thanks for sharing this.  It's all very
interesting to see the responses from owners of the model.  No problem about posting
the article, although technically (from a legal standpoint) you should always get
permission first.  However, I hereby grant you a blanket authorization to post this
and future AR articles on the CVO website only.

I have not received any of this feedback on that particular story, and I'd love to
share it with my readers in our letters column.

Thanks.  I am very glad that you enjoy the magazine and that it's giving the kind of
information that readers find useful.

BuzzB

So, in the future, as long as it's positive and going to help us and them (American Rider Magazine), we have carte blanch on scanning and posting their articles ON THIS WEB SITE ONLY!  Now how is that for a magazine paying attention to us, the consumer!  O.K. folks, he'd like to see letters to print in his magazine please let him know what you guys think about this articles and others regarding our bike.
