More lean angle
« on: April 24, 2005, 06:46:24 PM »

Hi I was wondering if anyone had removed there foot boards to increase the available lean.

I am finding I am scraping the boards far too much for comfort. has anyone any other ideas apart from slowing down.  [smiley=laugh.gif]

Well I got a big improvement on the left side, unfortunatly I have V+H Big Radius pipes and it is those that scrap now.

I also increased the rear shock preload by 3 turns and that has also helped.

The only thing left is to fit stock shocks with lowering bolts, I found some that can also raise the back end 1" and lower it 2 1/2". I cannot remember who makes them ATM, but will post when I get the info.

Hope that helps. [smiley=1syellow1.gif]
