BAD NEWS! NO MORE CVO"S!

Just received a call form a close friend who works for Harley at their corporate offices in Milwaukee.  He told me that a memo was send out to key employees this morning that stated that Harley was discontinuing the CVO line at the end of 2008 production!
 :'(  :'(  :'(

He didn't want to discuss details.  He will forward a copy of the memo when he gets home.

I suppose my news that the MoCo will be replacing all 07-08 110 motors with a new improved bulletproof 113 cu in that will be dyno tuned free of charge with a complimentary SERT wouldn't be worth starting a thread on today.

The funniest thing about all the April 1st jokes so far is that Dood is moving them to "Humor" almost faster than they get placed in some section that makes them a joke.  Silly April 1st pranks are just a nuisance.  What a nuisance and waste.  About as useful as all the speculation on what the next CVO models will be.  Humbug....

Tommy, if you really wanted to do an April's Fool you should have said that the moco finally acknowledged a problem with the 110s, that they've found the cause and are issuing a recall to repair all at no charge and to compensate owners for their trouble they are going to offer a free lifetime unlimited mileage warranty on the engine.  Now THAT would be one heck of an April's Fool!
