What was the brand on these pipes, they look great, are they V&H, and need model #. Did you have HD install them? Aprox cost? they are telling me about 1600 bucks.

GLW,

he has the V&H big radius 2 into 1 on his springer, they should cost somewhere around $580.00
as far as installation goes, install them yourself and save the $$$, they are only bolt on. :2vrolijk_21:

I really like them. Heard a few on YouTube. Just do a search on 2 into 1--their's a boatload.

I am seriously considering these but for the fact that they totally block the transmission chrome. Give and take, I guess.

Do you have to remap with these?

Thanks,

Happ'

Hey guys been slackin again.  I added an A/C more air in more air out a remap is definitely warranted if you don't want temps to go up from high already.  The remap will also improve the HP/TQ a bit.  I paid a bit more for them since they were just released after about 10 months being delayed...can you say price jack.  I think I paid $711 but I agree they can be had much cheaper.  V & H has sound bites on their website for their pipes but you don't get a real appreciation for them until you hear them up close and personal.  Friends in 2 continents have said that they get stiff just listening to the rumble.  I agree that they are relatively easy to do your self but if you do you may need 4 hands they are a bit heavy and it is tight quarters near the flanges.  If you do decide on them take their DUMB @$$ black bracket and get it chromed...you would think they would have thought of that but I had to polish the hades out of mine and am now looking to get it chromed.  They may look a bit beefy for a relatively dainty bike (yeah right) but when you see it in person...it is much better.  Like trying to describe the paint on these beauties...and even more so with the 2008s you cant show it in pictures you have to see it for your self.  I think the slope accentuates some of the lines and the beef looks good with the 200 series...but the sound....ooooohhhhhhhh BABY!
