Woman involved in crash with Sandra Bullock in court

GLOUCESTER, Mass. -- A 64-year-old woman pleaded not guilty Tuesday to driving drunk when her car crashed into an SUV carrying actress Sandra Bullock and her husband.
Lucile Gatchell was released on personal recognizance following her appearance in Gloucester District Court. She pleaded not guilty to operating a motor vehicle while under the influence and failure to stay in a marked lane.
Neither Bullock nor her husband, Jesse James, were hurt in the accident Friday.
"Ms. Gatchell is very relieved that no one was injured in the accident," said her lawyer, Benjamin Richard. "She also wants to extend her gratitude to Ms. Bullock, and Mr. James for the concern they showed to her at the time of the accident."
The actress is in the Cape Ann area filming the romantic comedy, "The Proposal."
Police said Gatchell had a blood alcohol level of .20, more than twice the legal limit in Massachusetts.
According to a police report, Gatchell said she had two glasses of wine that night. But the arresting officer wrote she appeared "dazed and confused."
"Her eyes were blood shot and glassy. Her speech was extremely slurred as she spoke," wrote police officer Kevin Mackey, who responded to the crash.
