Today was a carbon copy of yesterday as far as the weather is concerned.  I hit the highway about 7am and rode up to Groton.  Had lunch on the Naval Submarine Base New London.  Lots of history on that old sub base.  Toured the Submarine Museum and Library as well as the Nautilus-the first nuclear submarine.  Damn tight quarters in those things.  Then I headed back to the hotel.  Sometimes I get the feeling I am the only one wearing a helmet in Connecticut.  Lots of bikes out today, and everyone I saw carried a bareheaded rider.  Choice is a wonderful thing, but for me.........I choose to keep my pea brain inside a bucket.  Not too sure I want my brains splattered all over I95 for all of New England to see, smell, and enjoy.  Anyway, wonderful riding up here.  Really looking forward to this weekend.
