Not sure if these have been posted yet but the story goes that the driver hit a deer at 140mph... :nervous:

Either that was a small deer or I have to give BMW more credit then I already did that car held up well. It looks as if the passenger compartment is still intact. I think I would rather butcher/tenderize me venison some other way though. :)

Instant sausage and cooked at the same time too!  Wow, I think it went through a funnel!  He had to feel pretty good about the lack of damage until he opened the hood!

once upon a time I worked for a metric moco and they had us in Durango, Co for the Four Corner ralley and BMW was there as well. On one of their demo rides, a guy hit a deer on one of their 1200R bikes. It killed the deer, the guy never wrecked but it did bend the front fender, and he dented the gas tank with his knee....amazing

If that's the case, BMW's kill deer and should be banned!  :soapbox:

I always liked BMW cars and bikes, now I like them more
because they are safer for the driver/rider. :2vrolijk_21:

Is that how them make deer jerky?  :P

I am amazed that the deer did not pass up over the hood and through the windshield.  It must have been a short deer to have entered through the grill like that.  Still amazing to have protected the passenger compartment so well.

I gotta believe the smell would do me in...  I rode behind a guy that had previously hit a deer on his bike.  Even after multiple power washings, the smell was overwhelming...   :smilie_eimer: :puke: :puke:

Too bad it wasn't a 110, these motors would have cooked the venison tidbits to a fine dust to be floated off in the wind. (or deep fried in the seepage oil)

I don't care how small that deer may have been......it's incredable that the windshield doesn't even appear to have a crack in it.

I love that 6 series BMW, that car is just very, very nice from any angle! :2vrolijk_21:
