OK I've decided to go with a new solo seat, which looks good and most important is comfortable on long trips (at least 300 miles). I think I have it narrowed down to two manufacturers. Corbin and Lepara. Has anyone used either of these and if you have which model and how did you like it. I will be adding gel to the stock fatboy seat however I cant use that seat with the detachable luggage rack. Thanks

I live near LePera, here in the San Fernando Valley, Ca.

I had approached Christine with the stock bucket a couple of times and she turned me down; expressing the LePera team didn't redo buckets from Harley. The believed the pan manufactured by LePera to be a superior product. I can assure you it is just that: superior by far.

To re-manufacture the seat with the millennium foam, I went to Bar Enterprises, in Sunland, Ca or Sun Valley, CA. (can't remember the city). The did an awesome job with the original pan and saddle keeping the original chrome spoiler as original looking. Bar Ent. does great work.

I took the easy way out and sent mine to KnoPlace and I am more than satisfied with their work and especially with their pricing.  Email them and tell them what you want and they will make your factory seat rideable with gel & memory foam for under $200.
