This is more than rumor but less than an absolute certainty.  I have a friend that is the sales mgr of a HD dealership.  In the course of placing an order the MOCO goofed and acknowledged the FLTRSE3.  Don't know if the acknowledgment information was an error or just the act of sending it before  the new models are announced at the dealer show in Las Vegas this July.   Appear the colors will be yellow/black and black/orange.

If so, the first Orange bike should be numbered 2 as Brian has been riding the prototype Screaming Eagle Roadglide  for quite some time.

If I hear more from other sources one way or the other, i will update.

I remember why I like that color combination so much:
I seem to continually gravitate to it.

Just remember, the first '07 SE 110" engines were shipped around the end of July '06. That means that ALL engines are still under warranty (unless someone has alter it  :D). If a fix is in the works, all 110" engines should be covered. Of course this is just a hypothesis.

Yeah, but it will have a 110 engine so the paint scheme won't matter.

Damn Pete :puke:

IF this turns out to be, I'll be down for another banana. :bananarock:
Of course this would go out the window if they have the 110 still in them.
I am with you on this 100%. You can have the first one, put me down for
the second one. Banana's are always best. :bananarock: :bananarock:

Just a thought.
If it's a race only motor then how has Thunder Mountain been selling bikes for two years with EPA certified Jim's 120 in them? If Thunder Mountain can do it, why can't Harley. Or how about this, Thunder Mountain has been Harley's test bed for two years.

 :2vrolijk_21:

Good point Chip...that could very well be.  It would be great if HD would put the 120 in a CVO. (or any model for that matter.)  Perhaps Thunder Mountain gets away with using the 120 because they are not a mass producer of motorcycles like the MoCo and don't have to follow as stringent of standards.  I dunno.   :nixweiss:

they've got some catching up to do Custom Vehicle Operations has been a test bed for almost 10 yrs

so who wants to start rumors for a 10th anniv. CVO bike

Interesting, very interesting.  Unlike the MOCO to pass up on an anniversary anything.

LD is still about $5k from perfection cosmetically - - - - - -  then of course the motor needs to come down and be reborn as a Dave Mackie 113". And by that time, the paint will probably need a redo  sooooooooooo I'm married to my 07 wannabe SERG for life.  :orange:

As to any new offerings from the MoCo, truth be told, I miss Elvis so bad, all I can think about is scratchin together the cash to buy another 03 SERK and building dream bike #2 , or is it #3? maybe #4?  Beagle could tell you, he keeps count  ;)

Scot,
My mom had surgery to install a shunt to drain excess spinal fluid from her brain into her abdomen. She should be able to get around a lot better once she's through rehab in a couple weeks. After that I am headed to Maine to do my imitation of Jimmy Johnson in the Kolbalt Tool commercial at the family estate on Sebago Lake. I expect I'll spend 1/2 the cost of that 03 SERK in doing so. ssssssiiiiiiiiiiiiggggggghhhhhhh

I bet it feels good to be able to go back there after all the bull from last year. Enjoy your Mom and have a safe trip.

And the worst part Scot is Mom is getting a bit senile.

One day it's " You can keep the place on the lake if you take care of it "

The next day it's " We'll be selling by the end of the summer "

And of course if she sells I can't say " Mom, would you pay me back the $25k I've put into the place since Dad died "

You got to get it in writing, and quick.  When all is said and done, keeping that land in the family is going to mean a lot.  She may not remember it all, but your kids, and your grand kids sure will.

I've seen some fantastic, exclusive family jewels get sold out, and the only losers are the kids who never got to know it.
