I'm jumping in on this thread kinda late I know but I wanted to comment on the Chopper Guy's Frame question. I bought, sold, built and rode FXR's from 1986 to 2003. Don't know why I just let it all go when I bought my 03 SERK Anyway, I have rebuilt wrecks for friends using just about every aftermarket FXR frame out there. I built two ground up custom FXR's using Chopper Guy's frames. One was raked and stretched and one was stock. Both were without a doubt the best frame I have ever seen. Actually better than a stock H-D in some ways. Perfect fit and finish, gorgeous welding, every bit as rigid and strong as a stock and in my mind better looking in a lot of areas, especially in front and below the gas tank. I can't speak for the rest of the bike you mentioned in starting this thread, but if the bike's never been down, then the frame is dead on rock solid.
