I would like a few suggestions for places to see and roads to ride between Austin TX. and Wintersville, OH (just west of Pittsburg about 40 miles.)

I'm actually going from Austin to Grand Rapids MI to visit family for the 4th of July. I want to get a 15K checkup done at the HD shop I bought the bike from, they will be surprised to see me and 15K on the bike already.

Anyway, I am interested in some routes through the Southeast part of the USA. I want the whole trip to be about 2500 miles, figure this weekend and part of next week I will ride 500 miles.

Just looking for some suggestions for scenic routes, I can put together the actual route by matching up the different suggestions. Is there a east coast equivalent to the CA highway 1? What about the mountains near NC?
