My new passing lamps installed
« on: July 01, 2008, 09:13:35 PM »

I got finished installing my passing lamps. Heres a few pics. I ran the wires under the nacelle as you can see in the pics. It looks great. I did not want to drill a hole but I may at some point. Any thoughts and is this how those who've done this did it?

Lights look good. I went with the drilling and gromet. It's not to hard if you take your time. I also got some all thread and made my bolt, wanted to keep chrome nut on. Someone has posted the procedure for the install. I don't know if anyone else has hade this problem but after mine were installed right spot didn't work. Finally figured out no ground. All I did to fix was loosen and then retighten bolts. It was a mistery to me, but they work and I like em

Looks nice I am just finishing mine. I decided to use visor trim rings I will post pictures soon. Just have to crimp my new connector and remove the old signals -- Oh and wait for the back ordered visor trim ring for the headlight. Any tricks to crimping the male elec. connector?

Those look great!  Those are the first thing I saw in the catalog that I want to add. I like them much better than the ones that are standard on the RK standard.

bike looks awesome!!!! there are pros and cons about the drilling though. However, drilling keeps the hidden wire concept going.  At first I routed mine around the fork. Bad idea! switched it to look just like yours awhile back.
Any whooooo congrats on a job well done, now go get a  :drink: for your hard work...

Gives a real beefy look to the front of your bike - plus other folk can see you better - that's always a bonus.

Heere's one of mine.
