Its good to be back on a CVO Fatboy!
After sitting on the fence for several months on whether to put a 200mm on my 2005 SE fatboy I decided to sell.
I had a brief affair with a 2007 BMW R1200RT after I sold my fatboy. The bike is everything you would expect from next generation BMW. The bike did everything flawlessly, and the technology and erognomics out of this world. However, as I rode down the highway I thought to myself - boy do I miss my fatboy. I was on a fast, smooth riding high tech bike and I was bored silly.
I considered the ironhorse slammer, but in the end my decision was simple - 2006 SE FATBOY!
I am happy again
The loud pro pipe is music to my ears, even though I set off car alarms everywhere I go and children cover their ears as I go by.
I bought saddlebags the other day and am planning a road trip to Nelson of all places. Yeah I know, a year to late! We are doing a biking/golfing roadtrip just renting clubs at the courses we hit along the way. I am on the bike everyday it is not raining.
A crack of the throttle and the stress of the day goes away.
