Do they have a Best Buy in Wilmington? I think it's going to be a hit and miss deal (whether the store carries them and has them in stock).

No, the pool boy is starting to push the new gray market version of the Aqua Zumo.  GPS to help you find one end of the pool from the other when you are drunk off your ass!

If the Aqua Zumo sells well then they will bring out the Aqua Velva Zumo.(the scratch and sniff version)
When you use it you end up smelling good no matter your location!

The Zumo 550 is over $850 here in Canada. That was a great buy that you made. THE MUFFMAN

Had my wife call Best Buy, they don't sell them in the store here at least.  Wonder if that was a return?

Got me all excited...have to put the Amex away now.

Sean

Ok, maybe this is a local deal for the South OKC Best Buy store.  I didn't ask how many they have in stock.  Sean, if you want one or if any one else wants one at the $449.99 price, I will call the store and find out how many they have or if ordering at the sale price is possible.

Sorry, you're too late.  I am picking up the last one available today for someone.

You might call the Best Buy stores in your area.  I was told that Best Buy is not going to carry the Zumo 550 anymore.  You might find one at a close-out price or you might get a deal on the display model.

Reb, you are one of the fortunate ones.  None of the stores in the central ohio area ever carried the 550..  As d00d, stated, a fellow on the Zumo forum bought for around $539 in California last week.

Have called all of Eastern and Central NC - no Joy.  Also called Tucson since mom lives there - no joy.

Guess it wasn't meant to happen.   :nixweiss:

I wish it was for me. I bought mine from PC Nation about six months ago. Searched this one out for a friend of mine.

OK- here's a trick...  I just scored one in Boca Raton Fla.  If you have an area where someone will be kind enough to pick one up for you, you can pay over the phone and authorize another person to pick it up.

Go to Bestbuy.com and find the Zumo 550...  Go zip code by zip code, or state by state...it will show if any are available.  Then call them to CONFIRM they have it and have them fax you the Auth form.  I found one yesterday in Durham NC, but they wanted the 899 for it, so they are out there.

I paid $539.99.  Not as good as $499...but about $100 better then I have found anywhere else.

Also, they would not honor the coupon since they are on clearance already.

Good luck
