Hi Everyone - just a short update this morning as we are off to the 105th party down at the Summerfest grounds .

We had a great day yesterday at the Miller Park Stadium where the 25th HOG Party was being held. The place was heaving and the vendor facilities were having trouble coping with it all. We stayed and watched Sugarland, Joan Jet & Lewis Carroll - all good. The Police displays of drill riding were spectacular and I'm looking forward to the Police Rider Skills competitions down at the Summerfest today.

7,080 miles on the clock now and all is going well.

We are having the CVO GTG tonight at the Lakefront Brewery at 5pm - should be 50 - 60 CVO chums there.

I'll try a fuller update later.

Thanks to Brian for all the pics and to all the other folk we have met between New Orleans and Milwaukee.

Time to party....................................... :2vrolijk_21:

Just back in from the parade of flags. The streets were lined with folk - thousands and thousands - a fantastic sight to see and great to be part of.

We had an excellent night last night and enjoyed some ZZ music along with another 20 or 30,000 harley goers. The place was packed to the gunnels and it was tough to see what was going on, but we made the best of it. Hope it's a little better organised for the Springsteen concert tonight.

This is our last night in Milwaukee and we start to head north again tomorrow. Our first port of call will be Green Bay before we head off to stay near Marinette. We're hoping to call in at Doc's HD in Shinawo County as it's supposed to be a really cool place.

The GTG in the Lakefront Brewery was a great success with nearly three full tables with around twenty people on each. As always it was difficult to talk to everyone but we all seemed to get plenty of pictures and make some connections to people we have only met on the keyboard.

I have neasrly 800 pictures now of th trip so far so I guess my post count might go up a little when I get home!

We're off down to the Veterans park on the Lakefront now................. life is hell!

Anyone heard from Nige?

He was supposed to be in Toronto today, but when I looked at the map it indicates that he is still is in Manitoulin.

hmmm, still no change in position from yesterday.  I hope all is well.  I think he needs to push a button on a transponder to send the satellite signal.  His plan was to deliver the bike for shipping Thursday and rent a car to go to Niagara Falls for Thursday and Friday nights and return home on Saturday.

Must have found a good bar!!! I've been out of town for a while, just catching up, man looks like they've been having a good time and meeting a lot of people. I would think they're getting a little saddle sore by now!!!

Anyone have contact info for them?

They were supposed to call when they reached Toronto, but nothing yet.

I remember that they were having cell phone issues earlier.

Yea, they didn't have cell service when they started until they got near my house in Colorado, so they might not get service in Canada.
