Nothing wrong with a Goldwing. Never ridden one but my first street bike was a Shadow 600 and that ole girl was solid as a rock.

Man that picture sure does bring back some memories. That CT-70 is the bike (edit: Mine was red, though) I first learned to ride on. Dad surprised me when I was 7 years old, no special occasion just "Here you go, son!" and we spent hours together wrenching on that sucker. Together we put a speedometer on it, installed a manual transmission with clutch engagement, put on a new seat and of course some chrome accessories  ;).

When all the other kids were riding their bicycles around during summer break I was hell on wheels capable of 35-40mph. Oh memories 8)

Lucky kid...When I was little there was no place to ride, and no money to buy one...
I have one now for just that reason, I couldn't have it then.

Lil blu there is a 1970 KO sandcast 4 speed, I have recovered the seat recently and blinged it up a little, need tires and stiffer shocks.

Live and let live I say, we're all in the wind. I done 36years on all sorts over 20 bikes in all, the last 3 Harley's but the wife rides a Honda (Ya gotta start somewhere) and my boy rides a Hoysung (he's saving for a Harley). Yes I've got tattoos, shaved head, beard and I'm alittle on the large side at 5'8" and 18 stone but I was the same on the last 15 bike's so it's not just a Harley thing.

Ah man Uncle Buck!! The old Trail 70!! We had 2 when I was a kid (both blue). My dad used to let me steer it. That was my first "driving" experience as well. Man those things were almost indestructible!

I read about half of that and totally surprised some moderator didn't step in. I don't think it would matter what he rode or drove his attitude would be the same probably about other topics not just harleys, there actually seemed to be quite a few of the GW crowd trying to calm it down but couldn't find the punch, delete or eject button on the keyboard. I bet if you search that forum you would find more of the same on other topics. I think you guys have a better way of dealing with people like that, you just ignore them and they go away so good on ya for sticking together and maintaining a class site.
