I just received an email from Joe Dowd, HOG Manager, Event Team and says:

Hope you are well.
I won’t be meeting you in Urbana because I’m not on the ride.  I was in a motorcycle accident on August 8th.  I broke my right collarbone and left wrist so I’m pretty much stuck at home for the time being.  Not sure what will happen for the 25th and the 105th right now

This guy was going to lead the group with Willie G, Karen & Bill Davidson from New York to Urbana, IL. I was going to meet him at Andrae's H-D in Urbana, IL on Tuesday next week and then ride to Milwaukee on Wednesday........

I will call him later to know how he is doing..........I don't know details of the accident at this moment........

What a major bummer.  Talk about bad timing.  I'll bet his frustration is worse than the pain of the mending, poor guy.....

Poor bugger, talk about bad luck as if going downs not bad enough to do it just before something like that just sucks. Wish him well from us down under.
