The answer to your question is on whom you ask.  The choices, are limited. You might want to read this thread:

Always a tough choice unless your riding is mainly one type.  Grip is always good, certainly no question there.  But if most of your riding is highway or fairly straight (and dry) then grip takes on less importance.  The way I like to ride grip always wins over duration, well almost always, some ultra soft compounds really don't add anything to street riding (and not even available for our bikes).  And of course there are some compromise tires out there that might fit the bill.

If money is not a primary consideration then I would go for grip.  Nothing worse than needing more grip and not having it.
