It's a very old question, but did anyone ever get the 2006 numbers?

I sent a letter to H-D months ago asking for the numbers and never got a response.

I think they got flooded back then with many requests at the same time and might have gotten overwhelmed. Might not hurt to try again?

Let's do a pool! I'll bet that we will have both the 2008 AND 2009 production numbers before they release the 2006 numbers! Wonder why? I believe it has to do with slowing production due to paint problems. I read somewhere that production was halted for 1 month mid-year and 1.5 months at end of year, don't quote me, just what I remember reading. Don't see as many 06 as I see 07-08 bikes. Just my opinion. Don't kill me.

Well it may not be an exact, but they do run sequential with no skipping of numbers, and considering we have a very small sampling of owners, they made about 8000 SEUC's (rounding up to the nearest 1K) in 2006 according to the registry at the bottom of my sig.

Well considering they "were" only making 3000, they kinda over shot the goal.

Based on what I have seen out there so do I, but it would be neat to see the numbers.

I believe the Crimson will be the highest
followed by the Haze then the Emerald.

Ordered my Crimson in August 2005, it is close to 4 years and we still don't have the production numbers per color like every other year? It was brought up in a conversation today, so here I am again asking why? What is the big secret? $:-\$

Still nothing, Dave, and I've sent a stack. For some reason, these first generation SEULTRAs are a mystery. I wonder do they really know the actual production numbers by scheme with all the paint swapping going on back then. I remember my first set was nothing more than buffed out take-offs from someone else's effed up paint job, that made mine look even worse. Who knows, but I think you're right about the population density of each scheme. Unless there's some folks out there who are holing these things up in their garages, I think Black Candy Crimson and Charcoal Slate was the most produced scheme, followed by Autumn Haze and Vivid Black with Black Emerald and Majestic Green Pearl bringing up the sweep. We may never know for sure.
