Valve problems?

My bike 07 fxdse with 14,900 miles starting making alot of ticking noises and  within 2 days  progressed to all the time and a very loud almost knocking after the bike warmed up.  So it is at the dealer now.  They are saying maybe something wrong with the valves?  Anyone else have this problem?  I already had the oil leak at 6400 miles.  :(

I believe that is one of issues addressed in the 0906 recall (Upgrade) along with a new rocker box that allows more clearance for the valve spring

I got the bike back it was the the lifter.
