You need a stock '08 96" engine for that for your bike. Then put on the 103 P's and Cy's. You need to turn your cases in to be destroyed if you want to keep you S/N that's tied to your title. Not sure that's the solution. A Jim's 120 or 131 is a much better solution. And you keep your original engine, which you would make them fix! ;)

Absolutely. Same exact case-with a larger flywheel and stroke to the rods the jugs are slightly bigger and the frame did not chnage from 2003 to 2004 when the 103 was in the 2003 SERK.

Would the MoCo do that with a motor that wasn't a 110? Isn't there something in the VIN that designates the motor size?

All of the cases are the same. A twin cam is a twin cam. The only difference is the fly wheels and the bore size. In 06 the Dyna's were the Ginni pig for testing of the new cam plate oil pump cams and tensioner!!!!!

You can keep your cases and do a ground up rebuild like some here have already done!!!!

Anyone know a builder that would do the JIMS 120 in the San Francisco bay area and that would warranty their work ? Then maybe I would sell my extended warranty and add some cash for this build

You dodn't need a "builder" per se for that. Jim's 120 is a crate motor. Contact HD-Dude from this site. He's got a shop in Hayward, Metal Dragon. He can install a motor or build one for you! He's EXCELLENT! :2vrolijk_21:

For purchase or bolt in of a 120 talk to HD-Dude, Howie is steering you in a good direction,

If you want to do a ground up build from your cases and need machine work or head work then talk to these guys

Jim can send the heads and crank off for you.
