Can anyone provide me with the H-D part number for the chrome trim on the bottom of the side covers on a FXR4.I just looked at Bikebandit and they want over $300.00 per side.

Looking in the 2000 FXR4 Parts Manual...Page #62 shows diagram of the frame...These two Chrome trim parts are shown as Item # 30 and 31.

Page #63 lists Item #30 as Trim Panel, Right...PN:66245-99.....Called My local dealer....Part is Obsolete...Cost was $325.00
                           #31 as Trim Panel, Left....PN:66246-99......  "      "     "       "        Computer shows three in country at $325.00 ea

That's the best I can do...Best to ya

ok, if I am reading this right the chrome piece tips at the bottom of the side panels are $325.00?   WOW!!!

So how much are the UNPAINTED (primed) side panel pieces and do they come with the chrome piece tips attached?  and if they are attached (the chrome piece tips) how much for the side panels that are painted to the color of your bike?

$325.00 for the chrome piece tips attached to the plastic side panels that seems a bit rediculous?
