HeHe!!! I just called CS, and they don't know anything about this book being sent to 110 CVO owners at all! My call was the first they heard of it! I read him the letter and then there was silence! I told them to keep the gaskets and send me the book! "We'll get back to ya." So what else is new, right! :nixweiss: :nixweiss: :nixweiss: :huepfenjump3: :huepfenjump3: :huepfenjump3:

Got home from work and the box was sitting on the table, and I got the same reaction from my husband!

That's just too funny Janine.

FTB Howie, FTB!

Actually, I'd like the book. I have a very large collection of HD related books. This one sounds interesting, and would like to add it to my collection. Sorry Brian. ??? ;) :2vrolijk_21:

FTG, then! :huepfenlol2:

Got it, put it with the other books...It feels good to be "valued customer" instead of "resident".

There was a box on the porch when I got home tonight.  I thought it was the Bagger Brace that I ordered last week, but it was the book instead.  Nice book - rather have a set of cylinders.  If they were really interested in "your continued satisfaction of our CVO products" they would have upgraded the existing ones to the latest version.

Hmmmm, unaware there was an 'upgraded' cylinder.  Did I miss something?

Unfortunately, on the issue of the cylinders, the existing one IS the latest one.  They only thing they've "upgraded" is the cylinder heads (valve guides specifically) and head gaskets.  There isn't an upgraded cylinder to my knowledge.

Well, I guess we will all get a new book with great pictures because as the letter says......"Harley-Davidson continues to be committed to providing you and all of our customers with the best products and the highest standards of service in the industry" Additionally this book is "Offered only to CVO owners impacted by this product upgrade"..... Not that its not a nice book but my question would be when the cover falls off will they send me a new book or a roll of duct tape.

I'd like the book too. I have many books about H-D and would likely buy this one anyway. I am afraid, however, that we will not receive it in Europe. Like we did not receive the actual letter regarding the campaigns (although our bikes show up on the web site check). Oh, and by the way, the '09 SEUC in Germany is priced at approximately $50k.
