HeHe!!! I just called CS, and they don't know anything about this book being sent to 110 CVO owners at all! My call was the first they heard of it! I read him the letter and then there was silence! I told them to keep the gaskets and send me the book! "We'll get back to ya." So what else is new, right! :nixweiss: :nixweiss: :nixweiss: :huepfenjump3: :huepfenjump3: :huepfenjump3:

Hoist! 8)

If you hold it up to the light and look real hard, each page is a gasket. Clever of them to send gaskets for life in a bound collectors edition.  :D

Not the 09's but thought it went to the 08 owners.  Not sure.

Definitely went to the 08 owners over here - my pal Mel has one - he's an 08 SERK owner.

Surprised I got mine today, not a bad looking book. I have an 08 SERK purchased last April. If you the hold the book up just right to a light you can see where the bottom pages are darker than the top, like they were burnt or overheated or something!. Anybody else notice that?
It could be my imagination but the bottom of the pages feel kind of oily and smell exactly like Syn3. TGIF

Hey all...sorry I haven't been around for a couple of days...was out of pocket doing some training and didn't have internet access.  I'm on travel now and my wife called me this morning and lo and behold, what was sitting on the front door step yesterday..."the book" :shocked2:.  Seems maybe my calling woke them up a little.   :nixweiss:  Wife says it is a nice book though.  Now if I can just get my 0905 parts in.  Called the dealership yesterday.  Seems a lot of CVO owners are doing what I did and holding off until the best part of the riding season was over to do the mod.  According to the dealership, I'm number 256 on the nationwide list for getting mine sent.  The dealer said they got a kit yesterday but that was for another guy who was supposed number 167 on the list.  So they are hopeful that they'll get my kit within the next two weeks.  We'll see.  I still think it sucks that I had to call the factory to get "the book" though.  But that exclusion list thing bothers me...what else am I being excluded from by the MoCo? :nixweiss:

The book is a good read with plenty of pictures...finished reading it last night after a long hiatus on the coffee table. I would have liked to see some more CVO bikes listed in the last few pages...I am sure that there will be a CVO book in due time though.

I've been on the road for the last few days. When I got home late last night, there was a UPS tag on the door. It says the shipper is "DCI"? Being the typical 'guy', I know most of the things being shipped to the house and this is one package I wasn't expecting. Who knows? ...Maybe it's here?

Well, low and behold I received my Archive Collection Book today! Thank you very much Harley Davidson. It is very appreciated. I have told Linda that now we're going to have to convert the guest room into a "Harley Room". I knew this was going to cost me money  ;D.

Got home yesterday and low and behold my package from the Motor Company was sitting next to my garage door.  The book and letter finally arrived!!!!

Nice book, but would rather have them invested the money in quality engines!!!!
