Cruiserwerks repair
« on: September 22, 2008, 02:54:54 PM »

Sent my Cruiserwerks boots off a few months ago to be resoled.  New tread pattern they call 'reverse chevron.'  Very nice, BUT there has developed a crack between two of the chevrons on the left boot.  Didn't think too much of it until retracting my sidestand and got caught on it which darn near caused me to dump the bike.

Spoke to Kara, the owner of Cruiserwerks, today and she said they had some problems early on with the new tread design.  Have revised it and are sending me a prepaid mailer to send the boots back in for free re-soling.

So if you have a two-tone (grey & black) reverse chevron pattern on your Cruiserwerks boots check them for delamination and if defective give them a call at 800-955-1187.

Of course if you would buy better brake pads you wouldn't have to drag those boots on the concrete to stop. ;D ;D ;D
