Holy crap!!! Great info here!!! Do need to catch back up on my Evo hop ups! Some good cam suggestions here. I'll review this all with Vern and see what he thinks will work best with his head porting and compression changes. I like to know all the options before discussing it with Vern. He's got his ideas, but I always like to challange hm to look at new things if it's appropriate. And since Evo work is much slower than TC work these days, I thought I'd catch up a bit on what's available for Evo's today. Thanks for the input gang!!! :2vrolijk_21:

When will this part of the project get done?  Motor work a winter project also?  Or something farther out?

The DM580 is the best damn Evo cam ever made. I had one in my hotrod 95 Road King. The DM590G is actually a TC version of that cam, but I've got the Crane sitting on the desk beside my laptop looking for a home

HeHe!!! No wonder you recommended the Crane cam Brian! ;D

I've no desire to use a .590" lift cam in my 80" Evo. I'll be staying around .450"-.500" and playing with the timing and duration, to optimize the selection. Them tall lift cams wreak havoc on stock Evo's. Looking to wake her up a lil is all, but nothing radical. :2vrolijk_21:
