Dont know if anyone noticed, but when I went to the HD site to look again at the Ultra they had changed the main pic from the black/slate model to the Autum Haze/Vivid Black one.  It looks quite different that the smaller pic in the color window - not bad looking.

That's the photo out of the sales literature that I mentioned in another thread somewhere here.  That would be my color of choice on one of these, I think.

The bike looks lowered to me in that picture. [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

Yeah, 'er 'uh, 103tHunDer,
I'd bet you're right. [smiley=thumbsup.gif]  It has definitely been lowered. [smiley=yes.gif]  Glad to see some positive feedback on the New Ultra!  Thought for a while, I was gonna' be the Lone Ranger! [smiley=cowboy.gif]  Every Harley we've had, all of us, is no more than something for us to build on.  To mold and sculpt as a reflection of our personality.  Ya'll all know mine.  Chrome it, Punch it, Clean it, put it in the Trailer, [smiley=trailer.gif] unload it at the destination, (if it ain't raining!) and ride it WFO! I actually like the green better but the whole thing is growing on me as well.  The solid attached leather pack looks good to me and it rids the whole stealing worry bit.  I may even get another one this year to add to my bike collection.  The big seat has me drooling a bit as well.  I am glad they did not make a yellow one since that would make the decision too easy as my yellow Duck won't even look at the Chicken and I was hoping for some grandbananas.  I love the screamin chicken, despite some minor frustrations with HD and getting the Zippers stuff sorted out and hope any CVO newbies have as good of a time with their new rides as I have.    Don't forget that Dougs in Florence SC was very fair with me and makes for a nice place to visit and pick one up under the SC $300 Sales tax cap.  Ask for Wanda who is a neat lady to do business with.  JP [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif] [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif] [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif]

I agree.  IMO, that would be one sharp looking bike if the tour pak were painted the same as the bags, tank and front fender....Autumn on top, burgundy graphic, then the black.  Maybe someone (more skillful than me) could do a Photoshop mockup showing what it would look like?

How's this? I'm sure someone here can do better but it gives you a rough idea. I kind of like it!

Yep, I like 'em both MUCH better with the matching tour pak.  I hereby nominate you as this forum's representative and consultant to HD's product design team.
