Very nice ryr88. I have the same sissy bar and rack. Haven't had a chance to use it yet but certain it will come in handy. Wonder if you could comment further on the windshield both functionally and cosmetically. Is it the short or taller version and lastly, would you do the flush mount gas and gauge caps again? I'd like to do them also but I am thinking the stock pieces add some depth to the raised console. Any comments would be appreciated.
  Gary
P.S. Could you do a closer picture of the windshield?

The windshield looks good.   I really didn't expect it to.  It's the taller version.   I get a lot of wind buffetting that I did not expect.  I've adjusted the windshield as much as I can, lower and higher but still same.  I've always preferred a short windshield but I think for this bike I'll upgrade to a Tall/Wide Clearview Shield.  When I take a trip I'll put the shield on and look through it...take it off when not on trips.

The sissy bar and rack have already come in handy.  Too much chrome for me though.  The bike already has enough chrome... wish they had the detachable in gloss black to fit this bike.  I've become used to it though.

I think that the flush mount fuel gauge is beautiful.   It has 7 led lights for the fuel level.  2 of the led lights went out after about a week of use.  Dealer replaced it promptly.  When I look a pics of my bike before the flush mount it just doesn't look right.  The look of the flush mount really makes the whole tank look as it should.  I'd would do the flush mount again.

I'll post some more close ups of my mods soon

Kuryakyn makes a very nice matching shift peg and brake pad to match the flamin switchblades. Have them on my bike and think they look great.

I darkened the saddlebags to better match the seat.  See the "Brown Leather..." thread around here for the process and the products I used as well as some more pics.

I had a local fabricator modify my existing backrest and cargo rack set-up to recreate something I had many years ago.  I sliding backrest that can simply be moved forward for one-up riding.  I was expecting to have to rechrome it after being worked on but the fabricator did such a fantastic job welding, I really don't see the need.

I wish my dealer would fill my bike up....premium please

Fantastic looking bike...I was going with the merlot SG prior to the SESG and was going to do the same thing with the brown seat. I think they really set off certain colors...great mods

Do the foot pegs hurt the cornering ability at all?

I scape iron occasionally but not often enough to be nuisance.  However I do scrape my boot heals fairly often.  Still...I wouldn't trade my 110 Fat Bob for anything.

When I changed the tires, I found my front bearing was toast after 6300 miles.  Today I went for a ride and took it all the way up to where she had no more and alas the wobble is gone.  Cornering and handling are like night and day compared to what it was prior to changing the bearing.
Finally it handles and rides like it should YEAH!!!!!!!!!!
