Geez, you live in Jersey and I just found this yesterday. Hope you are mending fairly well, it seems like you are.

NJ has an unlimited doe harvest starting with bow in October 3rd then gun and ending with bow Jan 31st.  We just about got em wiped out

Sure as heck isn't on the Garden State Parkway!

The stupid animals live on the medium down by me. There are time we will try and count them when we see more then a few.
We have seen upwards of 25 within a 1/2 mile stretch, and that is while driving at 65.

They are an avoidable hazard - if only the state would remove them from the mediums.

This picture below, in the bare spots, typically have a dozen or more deer at any given time

To the Parkway's credit, I have never seen a dead deer more the once, they are very quick with the cleanup.

Thanks again fella's.. I got about  200 miles on her since I got her back. Runs and looks like new.
got my pan done last week, put about 100 miles on her too. again,runs like new. Man, I missed my jockey shift and suicide clutch!.. almost forgot how to ride her its been so long!
