Here in the midwest the white tail are on the run.  A buddy of mind over the weekend was hit by a dear that was running full board and slammed right into the front tire from the right side.  He never saw it coming.  Luckily, he was not injured other than a few bruises.  He did not have a helmet on and fortunately did not hit his head.  The doctor that checked him out told him to go buy a lottery ticket.  He is a fellow CVO rider, he rides a 2004 SE Deuce (not a member, not a computer guy).  He was going about 40 MPH so the bike was not totalled, but still several thousand dollars in damage.  It's best to avoid riding near dusk and dawn through the rest of this month while the dear are breeding.  Be careful out there.
