Might be getting one hell of a deal on an 06 SEVR (yellow).  Will have to part with my 01 SERG (sorry, don't have the funds for both).  I don't know much about the eagle vrods.  Anything that I need to know?  All I would want to do is open the air box a little, slap on some pipes (2 into 1 Thunderheader (never heard'em on a vrod before though)), and a power commander.  Hit me with some knowledge on the eagle's ya'll!!!!

Choices we make dude.  I couldn't do it.  Not for a VROD.  Heck, not for any bike with a bike as nice as your SERG.  I'm just sayin'

I've ridden both and I will say this, they are both great bikes.  It depends on what kind of bike that you want.

Summary:

The SERG = think limousine ride
The SEVR = think Ferrari

If you plan on riding a lot of trips, stay with what you have.  If you want a neat bar hopper, get the V-Rod.

The deal fell through.  I was told that I could buy the v-rod for $11,500.  At that price, it was going to be too hard to pass up.  He decided that he wanted to keep it.  That's fine by me, Lanor's a good bike.  So, I'll be keeping her around.

  Yup!  Glad you're getting to keep your SERG, Chew!  I think you are as well.  JMHO.

With the above in mind it was the right decision...and I own the model you wanted but have another bike too...
