« on: August 08, 2005, 08:48:01 PM »

G'day ya'll,

I'm looking at fitting a centrestand... does anyone have any feedback, such as clearance issues or any opinions on the centrestand that's manufactured & sold by

Rivco Products c/- http://www.rivcoproducts.com

or sold through another company called

eGlideGoodies c/- http://www.eglidegoodies.com/index.html

Cheers.

AB, send a PM to a user here named Mobe.  He's got the Rivco and has had it on the bike for awhile now.  Saw written somewhere that he's currently in Sturgis.  So you might not get a response for a week or so.

AussieBoi,

I've also wondered about installing one of these - every bike I owned in the 60's, 70's and 80's came from the factory with one.  One thing you may want to question Rivco about is whether or not they have tested this on a lowered bike.  Our bikes are only lowered 1 inch, but that could make a difference.  If you do it, please keep us informed how you like it.

Rivco has a part number now specifically for the lowered SEEGs.  So you shoudl be in good shape there.

Thanks, 2lane.  That didn't show up when I went straight to the center stands, but it did when I went to the Harley portion of the site first. ??  The number for a lowered touring bike is HD001-S

When I talked with Patrick at Rivco he said it would fit with rhinehart or freedoms pipes and any 2 into 1 even with a falsey.
