New Bike
« on: August 26, 2005, 08:39:04 PM »

Traded yellow bike for green today. Green machine nice in person. Forgot camera home .Will get pics when I pick the bike up most likely mid week. I had them add a couple of options, bluetooth, saddlebag lights, latch lights and led indicator on bars for the heated seat.

Owners manual looks the same except for radio section. And max rating is being specked @ 4000 rpm this year. The exhaust looks scary like somehing I will not like . It has tiny diameter inner pipe.

The color is nice in person.

Will have some pics and reports with time.  [smiley=1syellow1.gif] [smiley=6.gif] [smiley=7.gif] [smiley=7.gif] [smiley=beerchug.gif] [smiley=beerchug.gif]

Congrats on the bike Jerry,

My Jalopeno should be here next week.  Did you add the lights for added safety. I noticed it didnt have that many lights to be seen at night.

Thanks! Guys much appreciated!

I added lights that were dual purpose , running/directional and running/brake. Bike was a little sparse on lighting in the rear. They had the latch light in stock. Most likely have to wait till xmas for the color matched saddlebag light to arrive. [smiley=7.gif]

They have one of the green bikes on the floor at Sarasota. No way around it, Just A BUTT UGLY motorcycle. Combination of the cartoon graphics & colors with the leather tourpak, not to mention the Sportster breather. What a disaster, heard a younger guy say " this thing is worse than a yellow Gold Wing". I am not sure about that, yellow anything would be better.
