XM FACTORY RADIO

there is one on ebay for 415.00 but they say it wont fit on 05. they claim to be working on retro fit wiring.  has anyone put one on an 05 yet?

Careful Vanamal, that eBay ad is NOT for the radio.  It's for the XM accessory hardware to go along with a radio that would already be in the bike.  The radio is what's pictured, but it's not what's for sale.  

Also, the $415.00 price isn't any bargain.  The same thing will be about $395.00 everyday at Hales or Surdyke or Chicago HD or any of the other several places that do 20% off of sticker to earn your business.

Van, that is the item I was describing.  It's an XM kit to work with an existing radio for $415.00 from Roeder's Harley.  You can buy it for $396 and some change at Hale's everyday so it's not any special deal.

When I first read the original post on this I was greedily hoping someone had just posted a radio for some ridiculuously cheap price and was prepared to swoop in on it before all other unworthy souls had a chance to snarf it up.  But no such luck, just an XM kit at an otherwise average price  [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

i must be retarded. i read it several times and its decieving if its not for the radio. im going to call them. but your right 400 bucks is to good to be true! thanks- van g

Van, all they did was cut and paste the graphics and text from the Harley website on the XM radio product.
