seat height

Does anyone know if the seat height on a 2009 Ultra is higher than the seat on on 05 Eagle Electra Glide i could sit flootfooted on my 95 but am on the ;;ball of feet unless i slide all the way up on the seat

also what can you tell me about an air ride system than allows the rider to lower the bike when stopping

Welcome to the site Gominis.  Yes, the 09 Ultra is at least 2" taller seat height than your 05. .  Your 05 is lowered 1" from the factory and the 09's have a 17" front tire.  May not be exact 2" but close.  Arnott and several other companies make an air ride that is adjustable in height on the go.  Hit the "search" button and start reading.

Arnott and Legend make air adjustable shocks.  You can lower two or three inches with these.

Another option is Burly Brackets... you can lower the height about 1.5 inch.  Much cheaper option too.
