California Girl gets a new Rinehart Exhaust System
« on: February 04, 2009, 05:00:15 PM »

Just got done installling the Rinehart 2 into 1 Exhaust System on the California Girl.
It did take a day to get them on.  Some spacing needed to be done and a few nuts and bolts were missing.
Downloaded her with a new program and she now runs like she should.

I was at one time considering changing out gear to make her perform more responsively but just changing the exhaust and
installing a new program has made all the difference.

She is so much faster.  You can get the front end up even though I don't suggest doing it.

Next to install are the mid controls, with new inner and outer chrome primary.
I did get the new saddle bags for Christmas I need to get them installed but the weather is just to nice to be in the garage
messing with something I don't really need immediately.

So check out the pictures.

lookin' good  totally relate to the 'front end' remark. Mine came up on me the first day i had it, and it's still not tuned right, runnin rich for break in. Runs so strong I can't imagine gearing or a cam for more 'Ooomph!' Can't wait for spring!!!!!!

Pipe looks really good Girl !  How's it sound?

I was thinking mid-controls, but tbh, I prefer a little more laid back posture on the bob...  I find if I want to ride aggressively I ride the crotch rocket.

I used the EasyMount bracket system for my bags - they'll work with pretty much any bag - so if you want bags that can be locked to the bike, but can be removed if you want in 5 seconds or less you might check em out.  I'm definitely a believer.

Again, looking good :)

Lookin' Good!!!  :2vrolijk_21:

The first time I lifted the front tire it was surely a suprise... :orange:  more torque on this 700 lb bike then I'll ever need.

Supposed to be in the mid 50's here tomorrow and 60's on Sat.  "Let's Ride"!!!

On another subject... I called the MoCo today to find out how many of each color they'll build for the SE Fat Bob.  They tell me they don't pre-set production numbers for the different color schemes.  They build the ones that are selling.  They also said that they've not discontinued the Yellow, just added the Orange mid year.

Sweet pipes, Ms Tedi!

I'll bet that's a real treat watching you get the front end up on that Fat Bob.

Rock On!!!

Nice pipes, a friend of mine has them and the sound is great. They will yellow, if you don’t get the right tune. Enjoy!!!

I have not gotten around to the intro yet... but I love the site.  The pipes look great but you know how curiosity killed the cat - can you share the new program you loaded?  I live in the bay area and have the same bike (color too).  I don't need to tell anyone that the bike runs hot or that are emissions are so strict.  I will check the posts here or you can email me.  best regards, Hotbird
