Called the MoCo today about CVO Fat Bob production numbers.  They tell me they don't release production numbers until the model year is complete.  I asked how many of each color.  They tell me that it is not preset, only the total number of bikes produced.  They say they produce the colors that are selling.  They also said that they did not replace the Yellow with the Orange.  They are still making the Yellow.

So from what I can tell they will produce the colors that are selling the best.  What?  If everyone was buying the Yellow would they produce 2450 Yellow ones?

All of what he told you is true except for, they DID replace the yellow with orange. The way it is with production numbers goes like this; The MoCo produces say 3 of each color for a dealer. Then they continue producing the color that is selling up to the maximum number they were set to build. So when the MoCo says limited to 3000 units, that realy is the Maximum number to be built. It could be less than that number but Never more. As for the Fat Bob, I think the Yellow one will be the collectors item in the future just for the fact that they are not popular now and the production number should be low. But that is why the started offering it in Orange, they want to hit there maximum production number.

Yellow can be found at dealers almost everywhere, so no shortage right now. The interesting thing about the CVO Fat Bob is the fact that the bike looks soooo much better in person, than on pictures, it's almost unreal.

I^ve not seen a yellow, hmmm must be cus i dont frequent many stealers unless i am on my travels
but the paint on the red is fantastic.

I saw a Black Diamond/Fire Quartz to day at Peterson's in Miami. Very very nice.

Black Diamond / Fire Quartz:  668 US; 965 World total

Denim Granite / Electric Blue Fade:  353 US; 512 World total

Sunrise Yellow Pearl / Platinum Quartz: 256 US; 342 World total

Electric Orange / Slate Black:  127 US; 179 World total

1998 were built of the 2045 original limit.

1404 were shipped within US.

Have to say, I'm not an orange and black fan but that O/B Fatbob is outstanding.
Almost had me converting to O/B, but I fought it.
But it is beautiful, especially in the sunlight.
