'09 Jiffy Stand

Not sure if my bike is affected by the dreaded "Ultra Lean".

Could someone with the improved '09 jiffy stand mount post the measurement from the end of the right grip to the ground. 

I'd like to know the measurement of a known "bad" jiffy stand also.

Can't measure right now, but you should be good as the European bikes are most certainly not part of the first couple of hundred bikes shipped. And, as far as I know, only those had the old stand.

I am curious about this myself, mine was manufactured in November and according to the dealer does not need the upgrade, but i swear it leans more than the 03......

Were you able to get a better deal through AAFES as opposed to going through a HD dealership?

I agree with louis, I replaced the jiffy stand under warranty. If it leans over far , you will know it, the lean is large. Once they fixed it, It was a big differents....

I don't have the measurment, but I will try and measure it tonight...(I will only have the after fixed measurment), Maybe you can measure yours so we can compair...

Brett,

This is my second Harley purchased through AAFES.  Saved ~$3K on the first one and paid just over $32K on this one.  Would have been less if I would have taken delivery in the states but I had it delivered to the UK.  I think Harley takes pretty good care of the military.

Measured mine with the bars turned full left - 47.25" from bottom of right grip to ground

Just need someone with the "new" bracket to post measurement

yours is good,just had mine done yesterday,big diff,mine to the left was 48.00 inch.on the right grip i can tell you with the old brkt it leaned over so far it looked like it was going to fall over.WHen it was parked in the garage I had 2 pieces of 5/4 decking material under the juffy stand to bring it up so it didn't look like it was going to fall over.Someware it was posted that bikes built up to sometime in oct had the old brkt.After  the sometime oct build date the touring bikes would have the new brkt. Hope this helps if more info is needed let me know or pm me.

My SEUC is 48" to the bottom of right grip.  Can I assume that the juffy mod will reduce this?

the bars to the left the right grip should be 48"s your good.that is what mine is after the mod.hope this clears it up, I might not of worded it correctly,if not sorry

this is with the new brkt,the old brkt I had 2 pieces of 5/4 decking pieces under the jiffy stand so it didn't  look like it was going to fall in a hole

I read someware here that bikes (I think its only ultras)built sometime in oct or before are the ones effected.After that date it was corrected in production
