this was a great run, thanks to WFP and fxdjerry for coming out, a number of my co-workers whimped out. all told 9 bikes and 2 passengers ( Mrs. WFP & Mrs. naitram ). we could not have asked for a better day in Oct. not a cloud in the sky and temps that crept into the 70's from staging to lunch was about 110 miles winding through rural towns of western mass, after lucnch WFP stayed in the area jerry and his buddy left with the guys from NH to cruise up throught VT and NH and the rest headed back out the mohawk trail with me

After lunch, Anne and I headed out for a ride with the first stop atop Mt. Greylock (Highest Point in MA), GPS said we were at 3519' at the highest.  The road up sucked because of all the frost heaves.  We then continued up to Bennington, VT, Wilmington VT and then back down and over to Pittsfield for the night.  In the morning we headed south through some nice Country roads in Western CT.
