I've got the -1" GT Recurve, but its a couple years old, and I know they've changed slightly since I bought mine.   I was lucky enough to go by Clearview's shop here in Colorado and hang out, watch production and talk to John about the shields and what they do.   Great group of guys, nothing but top-notch.   The shield worked great, I just wanted something more sporty / streamlined....

And regarding the gap, there is still a slight gap even with the moulding on the Euro.   In my honest opinion, it doesn't look bad at all.

Ok, so here's my latest windshield....   Its a Cee Bailey's 16" Euro TRSSC in Dark Smoke.    Weird part is, I'm 5'9" with a 34" inseam, and I can see right over it, also the Dark smoke isn't that hard to see thru at night.   Just thought I'd throw some pictures out for you guys.     8)    If these are too big, moderators feel free to resize.

When I look at their website, I don't see a "Dark Smoke" - I see a "Dark Gray"  - Is that the same color?

I took the HD-original and cut 2 inch of, was on the highway about 1h. Not so bad as many tell, but I compare it
to a Heritage original windshield. It's definitely not the same, but further comments will follow, after a long tour
this weekend.

OK Taste is a very individual thing!   ::)  ...but the above looks very, very "swiss"  8)

For me the CB 15'  is just perfect even at very high speed (130 mph = 210 km/h)!

Does anyone have a picture of the KW 8" windscreen on the 09 SERG? Also does it cover the instrument pod when looking straight at the shield. I hate the fact the instruments are above the windscreen.

Put the Klock Werks on the first day.  Great look, poor performance, fit and finnish.   Swapped that out for the Clearview GT Small.  Great performance& finnish but OK look and did not like the bulky seal.

Swapped out the Clearview GT Small for a Cee Bailey's 14" darkm made speciffically for the SERG.  The CB uses the SERG gasket and thus fits better.   Very similar wind deflection as the Clearview but looks better, IMHO.  Excellent fit and finish.  BTW, I'm 5'11".

After trying 4 different windshields, I, too, went with Cee Bailey.  However, I picked the FLTRSSC 16" Euro in dark Gray for the standard Road Glide rather than the one specific to the SERG. (I liked the shape better.)  I am 6'1" and still look over it easily.  I bought a standard Road Glide windshield gasket from the dealer and it works perfectly with this windshield.  The windshield worked great on the road trip to Sturgis and back.
