...and finally

Can someone please tell me why the hell we are paying the stealer 500 bucks to unwrap these things? Or setup as they like to call it.  Or am I the only one that paid a setup?  Is part of that 500 for shipping?  I will feel better if that is the case. [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

By the way congrats on the scooter.  Be sure to use a fine tooth comb at delivery.  I had a chip in the fairing that I would not have seen if my freind would not have.

Well, Yesterday at 1:00, I hopped on the SEEG and rode up to the dealer (about 50 miles).

So other than hand prints in the fender and fairing, both saddlebags milky and cracked clear in each bag lid it's in great shape?
Well, when you put it that way, it just sounds so bad.  I think the problem is in our expectations.  They're probably way out of control.  If they can't chrome and paint 'em to perfection, then maybe they just need to modify our expectations.  [smiley=embarassed.gif] har!  spyder

I saw a black/slate at the dealer here today.  The paint looked totally fine to me underneath the bright flourescent lights in the shop.  It would've been nice to get a look at it outside, but I didn't see any indications of the paint problems that have been documented here.

BTW, it was unsold in case anyone's interested (MSRP).

I tried to paint the wife's lighthouse to match the bike but I only had one shade of black ;)
